SOF-RACER — Special Operations Forces Rapid Acquisition, Capability Experimentation & Readiness. A USSOCOM Other Transaction Authority consortium run by SOF AT&L.
The consortium exists to close one gap: the time between a validated SOF technology priority and a working capability in an operator's hands. Solicitation, evaluation, award, and prototyping happen in one accredited environment — so the fastest companies aren't slowed by the process built to find them.

Become a memberWho can join the consortium?
Traditional and non-traditional defense contractors, accredited universities, FFRDCs, and qualified small businesses. Foreign participation is permitted under specific opportunities — see eligibility per AOI.
Do I need a CAGE / SAM.gov registration to start?
You can begin a draft and white-paper submission without active SAM registration. OTA award and project execution require it.
What is the SOF-RACER environment built on?
A FedRAMP High / IL-5–ready accredited enclave provisioned across Palantir Federal Cloud Service (PFCS) and partner providers. Prototype artifacts, data, and code remain inside the boundary.
Is GovSignals required to participate?
GovSignals operates the SOF-RACER consortium platform — government workspace, vendor workspace, and the enterprise knowledge system. Portal access is provided at no cost to consortium members.
How are awards announced?
Selected prototype proposals are notified through the portal. Public announcements are coordinated with USSOCOM Public Affairs.
