The consortium exists to close one gap: the time between a validated SOF technology priority and a working capability in an operator's hands. Solicitation, evaluation, award, and prototyping happen in one accredited environment, so the fastest companies aren't slowed by the process built to find them.

Yes. The waitlist was the pre-launch signup and it remains an update channel, but membership requires the application at govsignals-sofracer.fedstart.com. Apply now. You do not need to wait for anything.
How long until I know whether I am accepted?
During this opening surge, expect one to three weeks. Every application receives human review before a company enters this controlled environment, and that is deliberate.
Is there a cap on membership, or can companies join later?
No cap. Every company that clears screening is admitted, and the door stays open permanently. That said, members are in place before solicitations post, so joining early costs nothing and waiting has no advantage.
How should we apply if we have a holding company, subsidiaries, or joint ventures?
Apply as the legal entity that would hold an award. If two entities in your family would each compete in their own right, each applies. A holding company can apply where it is the entity that would contract and perform.
Can more than one person from my company have an account?
Yes, provide a primary point of contact on the application, and additional users from your company can be added.
